Re: Status Information "null" in check_wmi_plus

I have the same problem with check_cisco.pl. This is also perl script and returns null to Nagios Core. But it works fine from command line and as I can see from nagios.debug file all the parameters pass to the script are correct.

I would be very thankful to any ideas.

Re: Can't get my ProCurve monitoring to work.

The fastest way is to turn nagios debug on in nagios.cfg and browse log (log everything), you will see how nagios handles the command line step by step - substitutes values to create real command for execution in the shell. Almost any errors will become obvious quickly.

Re: SNMP Problem - No data received from host

device should be also set up for sending snmp data for specific host (i.e. nagios host), this is usual security measure to prevent unauthorized access to snmp data returned by device.

check access to device by snmpwalk, you should see the list of returned values.

Re: Monitoring AVAYA devices

Avaya has very detailed MIBs for their devices, check at support.avaya.com, but monitoring of a calling process probably is not that job would be done easily by nagios. probably it could be done if phone may send traps to monitoring system. I use nagios to check firmware versions on avaya phones, an...
