Re: Check_HP keeps flapping
Not typically no, without seeing where you were bottlenecking, if at all, it's hard to tell. Did you notice high load or something that indicated that?

Re: show traffic rate in packet per second
Do you have a specific OID which gives you that information? If so you could run the SNMP wizard against it to grab the table's query response in an integer. Your manual should have a list of OIDs, or Cisco would have them listed.

Re: All mysql nagios tables are Empty
What guide did you use to integrate NDO and mysql? Can you provide a link? Have you provided the nagios.cfg file with the correct NDO module, and then restarted the nagios service?

Re: Getting plugins to
So performance data actually comes from what the plugin parses, you will need to build in handling for it, you could take a look at some plugins from the nagios plugins package, than read up on performance data here:

Re: Remote MySQL Connection
You may need to enable remote access, as I believe mysql is set up by default to only accept connections from localhost:

Re: Graphs and thresholds for custom command
Yep, you would have to build in handling for performance data, which is not all that hard. Can you attach your script here so we can take a look?
I'd take a look at this for perf data:

Re: Check_HP keeps flapping
What stats is it flapping between? Is it actually returning valid output at any time, or is it just giving you the same error output? Is there anything mechanical to the times when it's flapping? Every 5 minutes, or something like that?

Re: juniper environment + CPU memory Temperature monitoring
I would give it a shot the worst thing that can happen is it doesn't work. Just let us know if your command fails, and give us the command you ran, and it's output so we can take a look.

Re: Domain and Nagios
What do you mean by domain field? Can you provide an example?
