Postgres installation

Postby liquidcool » Wed Feb 22, 2012 11:25 am

Hi there,

does anyone have details on how to get this installed using Postgres instead of MySQL ?

I have tried to view the php files in a browser but just won't show anything. All the apache PHP modules are installed.

Thanks

Liquid, I'll help you via email and then I will post the necessary steps here and get a FAQ in this forum going. :)

I would love to see how to get this up and running with postgres. I think I have it mostly there but when I go to nsti/index.php I get:

Database-Error
Can't connect to database!
Check your configuration!
Error: could not find driver

Please advise.

Pete, its ounds like you may need the php-postgresql plugin, it depends on what distro you're trying to build it on, with CentOS (or any other RHEL based system):

yum install php-pgsql

Should do the trick.
