I have seen behavior like this in the past of somehow you get multiple nagios processes running at the same time.

Well, it went all evening long without sending any alerts.
Makes me wonder if it was really becasue Nagios missed me being on a 4-day weekend....

I will leave the drive in a critical state over the next 3 days (by changing the warning and critical values)
