Can't get Nagios to display
Re: Can't get Nagios to display
I can definitely PM you the files, which I'll do in the morning. How much of the file do you need - it's a production server, and the file(s) are fairly large. Or maybe I can zip the files, and send you a link to download them. Woould that work?

Re: Can't get Nagios to display
For clarity, this is a new install of Nagios, correct? How much of the files I need is going to depend on how hard those logs are getting hit, but if it's a new install, it shouldn't be much...proportionally.
Did you try to access the webui in another browser?
After you've PMed the files, please update this forum thread. That's the only way for it to pop back up on our dashboard.
UPDATE: Files received and shared with techs.

Yes, this is a brand new install of Nagios. I sent the files via PM.

Re: Can't get Nagios to display
Ok, one thing jumps out at me immediately. The access log has ton of entries for nagios-plugins 1.4, but the instructions you used are for Nagios Plugins 2.1. There are instructions for installing the new plugins at https://support.nagios.com/kb/article.php?id=96
I also notice the logs both end on Nov 2. I assume you just took these from the beginning of the file and Nagios was installed on Oct 31. Is that correct? That shouldn't really matter since this has never worked, but it is possible there are new problems that have been introduced.
I also notice the following errors. We've not seen the particular error you are getting, so I would suggest cleaning up these aliases before we move forward. I just want to rule it out.
I just want you to be aware that we will be closed for US Thanksgiving tomorrow and Friday. We are also closing early today. Of course, community members will still be around to help with issues.

Re: Can't get Nagios to display
Ok, I'll clean aliases up and make sure the plugins are updated. There's no real rush, just want to get it working.

Fantastic. We await results.
Re: Can't get Nagios to display
Well, did all that and it didn't change. Even cleared the browser cache.

Re: Can't get Nagios to display
I am confused on this topic. /etc/apache2/ doesn't normally exist on CentOS. Why are these references in the log files?

Re: Can't get Nagios to display
Nagios isn't intended to be run on the same system as Cpanel. Both systems compete for Apache configuration. Nagios cannot support such a configuration.
Earlier you stated you followed: https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... entos7.pdf
Please note it states This document is intended for use by anyone who wishes to install Nagios Core on a Centos 7 minimal machine.
All this being said, Nagios and Cpanel can still coexisit if Apache is configured correctly. I do not have that information available, but I am confident you can make it work. Here is more info for you:
