| Solution: | Another possible problem cause is:
- If you're using a tcp wrapper and forget to configure it properly, causing it to drop your connection to the nrpe daemon when you run check_nrpe on the remote host. Use e.g. telnet to manually connect to the nrpe port. If you get connected and stay connected, things are fine. |
