After compiling and installing Nagios, user cannot find any plugins (which are used to perform host and service checks). The libexec/ subdirectory (where the plugins are normally installed) of the Nagios installation is missing.

| Solution: |
Plugins are distributed as a seperate project from Nagios. You need to download and install the plugins after you install Nagios. The link to download the plugins can be found at http://www.nagios.org/download
