The certs directory \\etc\openldap\certs has what is in the attachment on here.

There is no dbmaintpass in the file /usr/local/nagiosxi/etc/xi-sys.cfg file
it goes from chownbin ='xxxxx'
to
groupaddbin='xxxxxx'

Yes the script fails. Also in the file you mentioned there is no section for DBMaint

If there is no password listed under dbmaint_nagiosxi in xi-sys.cfg and you can log into your mysql database, you can either take the existing mysql password for the dbmaint_nagiosxi user and set that in xi-sys.cfg or you can change the dbmaint_nagiosxi user's password to match whatever you put in ...

Hi Psihawk , I think you're onto something here. The next place I'd have you look is in /usr/local/nagiosxi/html/config.inc.php .
