NCPA 3.2.2 update login shell for nagios user on Linux systems
As per NCPA 3.2.2 changelog: Update login shell for nagios user on Linux systems to /sbin/nologin for improved security. 1. On systems with NCPA already installed, after upgrading to 3.2.2, the nagios user remains /bin/sh, shouldn't the upgrade perform a usermod to set /sbin/nologin? 2. nologin cano...

Re: Localhost PING WARNING - System call sent warnings to stderr
One difference to be noted between the old (Debian 10) vs new (Debian 11) servers are the permissions & ownership after restore. Old -rwxrwxr-x 1 www-data nagios 227056 Dec 6 2021 /usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_ping New -rwxr-xr-x 1 root nagios 212280 Jun 24 10:21 /usr/local/nagios/libexec/chec...

Localhost PING WARNING - System call sent warnings to stderr
In an effort to upgrade from XI 5.9.1, we first need to migrate XI off Debian 10 to Debian 11. After successfully migrating/restoring the application to the new Debian 11 server, the localhost ping check is warning: "PING WARNING - System call sent warnings to stderr" Command ran from CCM:...

Listing all Hosts & Services without default contacts or contactgroups defined?
Upon restarting the nagios service, I noticed output warning of Hosts/Services that have no default contacts or contactgroups defined. It would be useful to determine all Host/Services in a similar state, is there a stand-alone script I can run to generate a list? Apr 02 18:49:32 nagios nagios[5317]...

Re: NCPA v3.1.0 changelog
v3.1.0 is available via your Debian Repo, and we're running it on a few instances so far without issue. I'd still like to see the changelog though.

Re: NCPA v3.1.0 changelog
Hey TBT Noted on the being more mindful, it seems there may have been a bit of miscommunication and something was pushed prematurely. I know there was a snag on something with todays build in relation to windows so it may be in relation to that. Normally the changelog should just be up on the githu...

NCPA v3.1.0 changelog
At some point this afternoon, NCPA for Linux (Debian) had a new release, jumping from 3.0.2 to 3.1.0-1 but neither your website or github have the current change log or version listed. Can you please provide the changelog, and perhaps be a little more mindful of publishing the changelogs at the time...
