Re: Unable to schedule downtime for a hostgroup

Ran through all steps and same issue. Was able to fix by just removing the host group and recreating. Any idea what would cause this behavior?

Unable to schedule downtime for a hostgroup

Hello,

I am receiving the following error when attempting to schedule downtime for a host group. I am attempting to complete this task using our Nagios Administrator login which has admin access.

"Sorry, but you are not authorized to commit the specified command."

Re: You are not authorized to view the requested object

Looks like by selecting "can reconfigure hosts and services" that gave the user the ability to access the link and acknowledge an alarm or disable a notification. I think I am good to go.

You are not authorized to view the requested object

Running into an issue with a user not being able to open nagiosxi email links to respond to a service problem for a server.

When the user clicks the respond email link a message appears stating "Not Authorized, You are not authorized to view the requested object, or the object does not exist.
