One thing I forgot to mention, the reason I havent just logged a support case is we have been a customer for a loooong time and the support portal didnt exist in those days so there is no login. I have requested the info from sales but Im hoping someone has faced this before and has the answer.

I upgraded Nagios XI to 5.5 release but my nagvis version is still 1.7.9 . I thought that Xi 5.5 included latest version of Nagvis. Can you please let me know how to upgrade to the latest version of Nagvis?

ok, it looks like the issue was revolving around the get-wmiobject script.

a reboot of the server fixed the issue one way, but it's still timing out the other direction.

I'll see if I can resolve it without rebooting the primary server.
