Re: CHECK_WINDOWS_UPDATES - NRPE ERROR

I found a PowerShell script someone had posted on the web (link below), which checks all servers from a text file and produces a report that shows the last date and time each server was patched, and how many days have passed since the last patch. The report is then emailed in html format and color-c...

Re: CHECK_WINDOWS_UPDATES - NRPE ERROR

fodmidoid , Looks like Power Shell 1 is not compatible with this particular plugin you chose. Here's the output from my server: Untitled.png I suggest looking for non powershell plugin on the exchange portal. https://exchange.nagios.org/index.php?option=com_mtree&task=search&Itemid=74&s...

Here are the result of running it locally in PowerShell, as well as the nsclient.log file. Thanks.

Re: CHECK_WINDOWS_UPDATES - NRPE ERROR

Thanks for the quick reply. I replaced the nsclient.ini file with the one you gave me, but was unable to set the execution policy to Bypass. I think this particular server is running PowerShell version 1, which might explain that, but I can't be sure. I've attached a screenshot of the results and, i...

CHECK_WINDOWS_UPDATES - NRPE ERROR

Hi Everyone, I set up a plugin I found on Nagios Exchange called, "Check Windows Updates using Powershell" (link below) on my Nagios Core 4 server. It is working for all but one of my 28 Windows 2016/2008 R2 servers and I can't figure out why. I set it up exactly the same way as all the ot...

Re: Can No Longer Access Nagios Web Client

npolovenko wrote:@fodmidoid, Can you remove the following link from your /etc/httpd/conf.d/ folder?

Code: Select all

lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 43 Oct 1 2015 zzz_omd.conf -> /omd/versions/default/share/omd/apache.conf
I was worried about removing the link file, but your advice did the trick! Can't thank you enough. :D

Re: Can No Longer Access Nagios Web Client

Thanks @npolovenko. Yeah, I followed instructions from their site to uninstall it, and it seems I did everything correctly. Plus, I checked and I'm not seeing any traces of OMD in the httpd.conf file. However, the symbolic link is still showing up in the /etc/httpd/conf.d directory. Thanks for your ...

Re: Can No Longer Access Nagios Web Client

I'd like to add that I think this happened from uninstalling OMD, which I thought was done correctly, but now I'm seeing in the results of apachectl configtest that it can't find the config file for zzz_omd.comf (see below). Can someone please help me clean up the /etc/httpd/conf.d folder so I can s...

Can No Longer Access Nagios Web Client

Greetings, All of a sudden, I can't access the Nagios web client. It has worked fine for years, but not since I migrated our vSphere 6.5 environment over to a new cluster of hosts and, after rebooting the Nagios VM, it no longer shows up in the Web client. I logged on the nagios server via ssh, and ...
