Re: Monitoring windows DFS
Thanks for your reply.
I would like to monitor DFS behavior (e.g. synchronization errors)
WMI can only tell me if the services are running.
what kind of information can I get with the plugin?

Monitoring windows DFS
What is the best way to monitor windows servers with distributed file system?
We have centralized repositories for user data at remote locations, replicating to a central server in our data center.
Currently using WMI for nagios checks in those servers

CPU/memory not working for WMI checks in windows servers
I have setup basic monitoring for windows VM using WMI.
Eventualy the CPU/memory check stops responding and go to Unknown state. Going into the specific check and the VM i see that the machine is not having performance issues. Any idea what could be causing this problem?

Re: Windows Servers incorrectly reported as DOWN
Thanks.
That helped.
We changed all windows servers to "no command (blank)" for the "check command" option. Apparently this makes the check for host-is-alive to use ping and not CPU in all servers.
Thanks
