I just did a test as I shutdown the server today and it took about few minutes to receive alert on email after critical status dictates server is down on Nagios. The problem of this is if server is restarted I will not receive any email alert from Nagios since the server is back up so quick. I did s...

Setting passive fail over for primary Nagios XI
I have one Nagios XI inside our LAN network and another XI that I just built and did not configure anything yet on AWS. There is already a tunnel between LAN network and AWS. I want to set up the Nagios XI on AWS as a passive failover so if the primary is down, the one on AWS is up and serves the mo...

Re: Nagios only shows disabled ports from Meraki switch

Is there anyway I can skip checking port status but only bandwidth. I tried to uncheck port status during setup winzar...

Re: Nagios only shows disabled ports from Meraki switch
I will try it but it is weird because all of the ports are enabled and active except there are 5 ports which were disabled and those 5 ports are shown on Nagios.

Re: Nagios only shows disabled ports from Meraki switch
The problem seems to be on Nagios setting since I have hooked those switches with other monitor systems like spicework, opmanager and all ports from those switches appeared using snmp.
Thanks

Re: Nagios only shows disabled ports from Meraki switch
Yes I use netwrok switch/router wizard. After filling all information such as IP, SNMP string and port, the wizard pops up few ports on this witch. I check those ports on Meraki dashboard and those ports are disabled. I did with other switches and same thing happened. All ports appeared on Nagios we...
