Re: Nagios XI update to 5.6.1 - "Update in progress"
That's great thanks, and I hope google will crawl and catch up with it soon so it's a front page hit - it certainly wasn't shown on any searching I did for "update in progress"

Nagios XI update to 5.6.1 - "Update in progress"
This has been an issue in previous versions - upgrade from GUI and the check for updates box never finishes but shows upgrading. This is despite reboots and a manual upgrade. The published fix is grep mysql /usr/local/nagiosxi/html/config.inc.php | wc -l If the command above outputs the number 3, ru...

UK Free SMS?
Bit of a long shot but are any of the SMS mobile carriers in the UK providing free SMSs that I can use on NagiosXI?
Or is there a way of integrating my O2 (or other network) account into NagiosXI?
Failing that, has anyone used a UK mobile carrier (paid) at all and can vouch for them?
many thanks

Re: Email Warnings - patchy at best, generally don't get any
Yes Benjamin after much googling I had to ./install-sourceguardian-extension.sh which seemed to sort out the httpd issues. So now I have the incident manager embedded into NagiosXI which looks very helpful. just playing with all the notification settings now as we want some alerts to be sent within ...

Re: Email Warnings - patchy at best, generally don't get any
I've worked it out now - will document briefly for other inexperienced users who come across this thread. Your tip about NagiosIM helped - I was able to see the alerts being sent. From that I noticed certain alerts were going to the admin, and some to me. But it was consistent. So what I needed to d...

Re: Email Warnings - patchy at best, generally don't get any
Hello @benjaminsmith, many thanks for your reply. I'm not doing well with your requests so far! Firstly I don't have the option for Incident Management, having googled, it looks like I need to install IM as per https://support.nagios.com/kb/article.php?id=107 which I will do now. Also, that file you...
