What you are looking for is check_cluster.

Setup a a service to monitor the cluster and send notifications on that instead of each of the individual services

You should be able to see the same messages in the domain controller if you look at the event viewer

You need to modify the plugin by running the following

If you were using Nagios XI I would just point you to the one of the easy wizards that do this, but in core the plugin you would likely want to use is check_jvm

Does that application log to syslog?
If not you will also need to add the application logs

Add Log Source -> File Monitoring -> Linux Files
