full=5.4.8
The manual upgrade works just fine but the GUI is still stuck as the original message "upgrade completed successfully".

Gui shows 5.4.8 installed.

grep xiver  /usr/local/nagiosxi/var/xi-sys.cfg
xiver='5.4.7'
The manual install completed successfully. But the WebUI does not reflect this other than displaying the correct version in the bottom left of the window.

I have executed the commands as requested

echo 'UPDATE xi_options SET value=1 WHERE name="last_update_check_succeeded";' |mysql -u root -pnagiosxi nagiosxi
and restarted the service but this did not correct the issue.

I removed all of the log files from that directory and restarted Apache with the command provided.

Updates still shows the same page as my original post.

I was able to upgrade manually with the instructions you provided. However, even though the system now shows 5.4.7 the Updates screen continues to display as before so it did not resolve the issue.
