Need to Ignore Cert Warning
So I'm using the basic "check_http" check in nagios, but it's failing due to the error "HTTP CRITICAL: HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden - pattern not found" I've tried tacking on the "-S" arg to the command as per another nagios forum post, but I then get a different error: CRITI...

48 UDP Connections used for a maximum of 9 Monitors
This might be more of a SNMP question, but we have about 9 checks per node in Nagios that use SNMP. When looking at the logs, I see this: info daemon May 10 16:41:11 <remote-node> snmpd[32187]:Connection from UDP: [<nagios-IP>]:40318->[<remote-node-IP>]:161 info daemon May 10 16:41:11 <remote-node> ...

Nagios Thinks check_results_path is read-only
Ran a yum update, and now nagios wont start, reason it cites is: Error: Unable to write to check_result_path ('/usr/local/nagios/var/spool/checkresults') - Read-only file system I've checked that path, nagios can write to every directory. I've used su - nagios to see if I could touch a file in that ...

Re: [Reload] Job for nagios.service invalid
Here you go, had to rename the file from "nagios" to "nagios.txt" since the attachment function doesn't like it not having an extension.

Re: [Reload] Job for nagios.service invalid
I'm not sure what's failing, all I get is the message:
I have tried rebooting the VM, it doesn't seem to change anything
Code: Select all
Reloading nagios configuration (via systemctl): Job for nagios.service invalid.

Re: [Reload] Job for nagios.service invalid
The nagios.cfg file is under a different location, so my command looks like: /usr/local/nagios/bin/nagios -v /usr/local/nagios/etc/nagios.cfg And has the output: Nagios Core 4.3.4 Copyright (c) 2009-present Nagios Core Development Team and Community Contributors Copyright (c) 1999-2009 Ethan Galstad...
