Nagios and space

Good morning, For the first time since I took over Nagios as an application, I am having space issues. My support team is stating that I have disk space warning in /usr/local/Nagios. When I run the following command. du -h /usr/local/nagios -d 10 | grep '[0-9\.]\+G' 3.3G /usr/local/nagios/share/perf...

Good afternoon, A new year leads to new requests and I was recently asked about how we monitor users logging into Nagios and if we can forward those logs to Splunk for monitoring. Has anyone else done this? Have you found it helpful? As the years progress we are looking into more and more of the sec...

Re: Monitoring IPS/IPS devices.

Thanks very much for replying. We are looking at Firepower and Corelight IPS IDS. Does this help at all?

Monitoring IPS/IPS devices.

Good afternoon
I was wondering if anyone out there has figured out a way to monitor devices such as IDS or IPS devices with something other than ping checks? And so what kinda data are you getting back from them? I have my network team asking.

Re: One or more scheduled commands could not be sent to Nagi

We updated to the most recent Nagios a week or so ago. So we are current.
I have not made those changes to the text editor yet. Is this something I can do with a VI command? I am still quite new to Linux.

Re: One or more scheduled commands could not be sent to Nagi

No special pathing was implemented to my knowledge. We did have this issue in the past perhaps it is logged somewhere in my last ticket?

Attached is my sudo file

Re: One or more scheduled commands could not be sent to Nagi

Hello, Happy New year, thanks in advance for the help. I was trying to schedule downtime from the home screen. I attempted to run the commands and had an issue with the CAT portion root@peplap02192:~# cd tmp/ root@peplap02192:~/tmp# tar xzf xi-5.6.3.tar.gz nagiosxi/nagiosxi/nagiosxi.sudoers --strip-...
