Nagios XI 5.6.6 I have added 15 or so domain names that we own to be monitored in Nagios XI using check_domain.php. I added each domain name as a host and the whois works fine. I was able to restore the latest backup snmp.conf file and it has the very same line as my updated one did.

I made this way too difficult. But at least I can restore single files now.

Thanks Benjamin. I started over and deleted all references to the domain checks (with the exception of the check_domain.php plug-in). Creating a separate host for each domain name did the trick. I was able to create services for each host using check_domain.php and then create a service group - work...
