Re: Performance Graphs suddenly stopped populating
BOOM!!! So, allowing root access to cron in the /etc/security/access.conf file did the trick. All Performance Graphs and related Dashboards are updating now. Fixed Core.PNG Fixed-Dashboard.PNG Fixed-212-Trunk.PNG This article was particularly helpful in deducing that PAM error in the cron log. http...

Re: Performance Graphs suddenly stopped populating
When I checked the /var/log/cron file, NOW we are getting somewhere ... It looks like we are getting the following error, the first instance of which started on JUN 26, about the time I changed the NagiosXI root password. The last successful perf graph was at 17:44, and the the error appears in the ...

Re: Performance Graphs suddenly stopped populating
Here is the output. I checked another .rrd file for the trunk interface which I know should be reporting a massive amount of traffic, though it is showing 0 as well. OK - Current BW in: 0Gbps Out: 0Gbps|in=0Gb/s;5.00;8.00 out=0Gb/s;5.00;8.00 [nagios@localhost ~]$ ps -ef --cols=300 UID PID PPID C STI...

Re: Performance Graphs suddenly stopped populating
Hi There, Yes, it appears that only the Performance Graphs are failing to populate. The Host RTT graphs appear to be fine, though that doesnt really provide what we are after for per interface stats. I tried restarting npcd last week as part of my initial troubleshooting and no errors were apparent ...

Performance Graphs suddenly stopped populating
Hello, We are in about day 24 of our Nagios XI evaluation, and unfortunately it stopped populating the graphs out of nowhere yesterday. Re: Using Regular Expressions in Core Config Manager searche
That explains why I couldn't get it work LOL Unfortunately a search only on "Bandwidth" wouldn't work, as that would display about 2,500 interfaces, and I instead want to limit my search results to the Bandwidth service for a specific range of interfaces so that I can easily deploy them in...

Using Regular Expressions in Core Config Manager searches
How can I enable regular expression searching within Core Config Manager? I have attempted changing the following in nagios.cfg, with no results =( We have thousands of services associated with our core routers, and I would like to create Service Groups for each of our HFC nodes and need to activate...

Re: Nagios XI Services Not Populating
Scott, Yes, that appears to have been the issue! I also received the following guidance from a Nagios Pre-Sales engineer. Subject: Re: Nagios XI Enterprise Eval and Purchase Hi Joe, When the number of ports on the device is very large, it may be overflowing the default PHP settings. Let's try increa...

Nagios XI Services Not Populating
Hello, I have a fresh Nagios XI Enterprise installation running from an .OVA template. The install and initial configuration went flawlessly. I am now running into an issue in which Nagios is not reporting all CMTS router interfaces as available services. The weird thing is that after running the Ro...
