Yup, you can mark solved.
No worries, I assumed I'd be able to eventually figure it out, it's just ALOT of code and a little overwhelming when you first start looking into it. But I appreciate the replies, thanks.
Thanks Again,
Matt

Re: Giving status.cgi Access to Resource File.
Hey tmcdonald, thanks for the reply! Yup, you're right about that.... But, I think I may have gotten it to work after tooling around with it for a bit. I created a copy of the Nagios source from our production installation onto another server I use for testing things. Then, I copied over the entire/...

Giving status.cgi Access to Resource File.
Hello All, Nagios Core Version 3.5.1 So I have done some modifying of the status.c file in the past and some other small stuff recently. For example, I included the LONGSERVICEOUTPUT macro in the Status Information column of Nagios' Services page of the Web GUI. I did this because I had a few servic...

Re: Part 2: No Notifications for Specific Service Check
Ok, I think I may have figured out my issue. So I had been under the assumption that when a Service changes from one state to another, no matter if it was a SOFT state change or a HARD state change that you are supposed to get a notification sent to you... But after reading a bit more on the 2 state...

Part 2: No Notifications for Specific Service Check
Well, after I got the Notifications working for my one specific Service yesterday, today they are not working anymore for this particular Service... Original Post "No Notifications for Specific Service Check" --> http://support.nagios.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=30919 I tried checkin...

Re: No Notifications for Specific Service Check
....SOLVED.... Turned out the directory for "blosxom" (*i.e. for the Blosxom4Nagio Plugin) was full and could not write anymore files in it's "posts" directory. Did not see this log message below until a recent service check that I sent. I did see that message below for other Se...

No Notifications for Specific Service Check
Hello All, Nagios Core Version 3.5.1 Could anyone take a look at my Config below and see any reason why Notifications would not be getting sent to me? No matter what current state the Service is in and I switch it to any other State, I still do not get any notifications. Watching the nagios log I ca...

Re: HTML Tags not parsing correctly in newer Nagios Install
Hey tmcdonald, thanks for the reply!! Excellent..!!! That did it. You just saved me probably a few hours of re-compiling nagios and editing the status.c file, thanks so much! I'm pretty sure this is the line in the status.c file below (*"status.cgi" after compiling) which swaps out certain...

Hello All, We have recently upgraded our Nagios Core software from: OLD Version: Nagios Core 3.2.3 NEW Version: Nagios Core 3.5.1 I have this one service check that sends some HTML Tags in its command output like bold tags <b>, italics <i>, underline <u>, line-breaks <br>, etc... Now in the old vers...
