It was a source install. I created the VM and used the install instruction referenced. I can't find the install.log within searching..would it be in any particular area of Nagios or Nagiosxi?

OK. There does not appear to be a Nagvis folder in usr/local directory on the production machine. I did start to follow the instructional http://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nagiosxi/docs/Integrating-Nagvis-With-Nagios-XI.pdf..and downloaded the .sh file..but saw the disclaimer at the top that it had...
