Thanks

Re: Nagios XI sending alerts via email
Hi Benjamin,
Can you elaborate the term application-specific password?
Also, I am using multiple email services, but in this case, let's see the scenario with the outlook email service.
Thanks,
Filip

Nagios XI sending alerts via email
Hi,
Sending alerts via email using SMTP protocol works fine. However, if I turn on 2fa/mfa on the email I defined in SMTP, the alerts/emails won't be sent.
The output in logs is "connection refused".
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Filip

Parent - Child relation
Hi, When it comes to parent-child relation, when a parent goes down/to a critical state, if it is defined as so, Nagios won't send alert that children are unreachable, but in that case, does it send a single alert that the parent is down and all of its children that are defined are unreachable? Or w...

Nagios XI Standard edition
Hi,
In free trial, by default, user can use Enterprise features.
Now, is there a way to choose only, let's say Standard "mod" edition in free trial?
Ty,
Filip

Re: Nagios XI free trial
Ok, I just activated free license key, now it works fine.
Was a bit confused because some years ago when I used Nagios XI, it never asked me for free license key.

Nagios XI free trial
Hi, How many nodes can be configured using free trial in the first period of 30 days of using Nagios XI? I've set up 2 switches, and there is a localhost, which is 3 nodes/hosts if I understood correctly. And I can't configure any more nodes, even tho' it says that 7 nodes are included in free trial...
