Is it possible to check web interface login? (Not .htaccess)
Hi all.
Is it possible to get Nagios to have a Service check that would log into a web interface with a username and password?
I know how to do this with curl for .htaccess but want to know if it possible for a web page that doesn't use .htaccess.

Send checks from only 1 network interface
Had a search around google and couldn't find anything regarding this.
My Nagios VM has 5 IP addresses for the purpose of netdisco but I would like to only send Nagios checks from only one source network interface/IP address (if possible).
Is this feasible?

Re: Host Status Totals or Service Status Totals empty
Ah I see, thank you for confirming that. I saw that and assumed that was the case, but wanted to make sure I wasn't going mad as I couldn't find anyone on Google with the same "issue". Thanks Scott. I assume there is no way to change this behaviour so they are just straight links? No worri...

Host Status Totals or Service Status Totals empty
I am getting some strange behaviour when switching between pages on Nagios. When I am on page with either Hosts or Services, then click on any of the links under Host Status Totals or Service Status Totals: Capture.PNG So Up, Down, Unreachable, Pending, All Problems or All Types When the page change...

Re: Forced to authenticate to start nagios, but still fails
This can be marked as solved now.
Apologies, I did know about the sudo thing but forgot to mention.
Weird that the behaviour changed to need sudo when it didn't when I first installed nagios!

Re: Forced to authenticate to start nagios, but still fails
Thanks I've added those lines but still getting prompted sadly:
nagios@nagios:/$ service nagios restart

Authentication is required to restart 'nagios.service'.
Authenticating as: notroot

Re: Forced to authenticate to start nagios, but still fails
To note doing the following prompts for password:
service nagios restart
But doing the following doesn't:
sudo service nagios restart
This wasn't the case last week.
