Re: /var/lib/mrtg/192.168.0.2_1.rrd': Invalid argument

Hey Vinh,

Problem is solved.
I get data from the switches, and no more errors!

So the erroneous .rrd files were leftovers from other configs.
Removed the switches, removed the files and made a new config.

Solved!

Thanks for the input!

Re: /var/lib/mrtg/192.168.0.2_1.rrd': Invalid argument

Removed the config for these devices, and removed the files from /var/lib/mrtg corresponding to the device(s) Let's wait a while and see if the errors are gone. Was running around in circles apparently last week... only now noticed the date was off... and very well could be an old(er) discover of th...

/var/lib/mrtg/192.168.0.2_1.rrd': Invalid argument

Hey All, I run into some errors on my system. The device (a netgear 5300) will not populate any data throughput, so I started investigating closer. When running "LANG=C LC_ALL=C /usr/bin/mrtg /etc/mrtg/mrtg.cfg --lock-file /var/lock/mrtg/mrtg_l --confcache-file /var/lib/mrtg/mrtg.ok" i see...

@benjamin

I'd love to send a message, but... I am not allowed: "We are sorry, but you are not authorised to use this feature. You may have just registered here and may need to participate more to be able to use this feature. "

Cheers

Re: Sender name in SMTP settings

Hi Benjamin, After applying the setting (in our case the name) the sent from name is still Root User. The sender email is correct, that's the authentication email address. Only when I change the class.phpmailer.php file it shows what's in there, so if I make tit Santa Claus, I will get messages from...

Sender name in SMTP settings

Hey all, I have searched through documentation, but cannot find where to adjust the (default) mail templates from the interface. We have configured the SMTP mailing settings, so mail is being sent from server@mycompany.com Even though we have "Send From:" filled in, emails are still from R...
