Where does the password go in nagiosxi that is in the client ? do i have to reset up each device i have to monitor i pulled the files from nagios core to xi.

i am getting this error when i try to apply setting
Error: The hosts 'SAFMonitor0001' and 'A1-SAFSW1807' form or lead into a circular parent/child chain!
not sure what file to check to fix it so it will apply the settings. i am trying to go from core to xi
