Hi,
Sounds good. I am going to close this subject for now. If you run into the same problem
again please open a new post, and within it you can reference "Notifications stop showing accidentally"
so we can refer back to this post if necessary.
Thank you

Hi, When I loaded your system profile I couldn't apply the configuration because there were errors. Once I cleaned up the errors and got the configuration to apply successfully the Monitoring Engine and Performance Grapher went green. This is similar to your previous ticket "5.8.3 not saving th...

In order to get rid of the errors I did the following: localhost -delete 4 services in file (12 in file, 8 in gui) /usr/local/nagios/etc/services/localhost.cfg has 12 services, gui has 8 service_description Se...

Hi,
I looked at your System Profile and I didn't see anything wrong. You said the notifications started working
again as expected - did you, or anyone else make changes yesterday?
Thanks

Re: Excessive CPU usage with MySQL.
Hi, Take a look at the crontabs for all the users and see if they are calling a backup script. You can look at /var/spool/cron and in /etc/cron.d to see which users have crontabs. Also, if you know when they are going to run you could run the "top" command and try to figure it out that way...
