Hi,
Would you be using Nagios Network Analyzer as a standalone ? Or is there a Nagios XI server available to you?
Thanks

Re: NXLog configuration for windows file
Hi, The issue is that the Testfile.txt does not have a "type" defined as shown below. I only included the pertinent pieces for clarity. <Input test> Module im_file File 'C:\General\Testing\Testfile.txt' SavePos TRUE Exec $Message = $raw_event; </Input> <Output out1> Module om_tcp Host 192....

Re: Convert .my mib to .txt
Hi, Thanks for that information. I just want to summarize what the issue is: 1. You connect to the device using a password 'XXXXX' and the snmpwalk works, however for the four OIDs you are interested in, you get a result of "No Such Object" 2. The device vendor has shown that these four OI...

Re: monitor a fortigate200E
Hi, So the SNMPWalk wizard will limit you to the first 200 nodes (fields) it can find by default. You can change that on page one of the SNMP wizard near the bottom of the page: 2021-04-12_1.jpg So if you increase that number you will see more OIDS. You can increase it until you get all the OIDs. Ne...

Re: Convert .my mib to .txt
Hi, The beginning of the OID tree has some standards, but once it gets to a manufacturer they can pretty much do what they want. There are MIB browsers out there that help make sense of the MIB flat file. A free one is ManageEngine MIB Browser available at https://www.manageengine.com/products/mibbr...

Re: Nagioslogserver alerting - SMS
Hi, The attached file shows gateways for most of the cellphone providers. You can send an email to person's phone number and it will appear as a text message. An example address would be: 6515551212@tmomail.net (for a person using T-Mobile) Since there is only one email per user, you would need to c...
