I just successfully installed the .1H update this morning. I first attempted the install, with no success. The same issues that were present after the .1G update were here after the .1H update. All I did differently was to make sure the permissions on the .cfg files were correct , running the CHWOWN...

We haven't noticed any functionality issues yet. Is there any new funcitonality included in the .1G update that you'd like us to test? Unfortunately, this is a production environment.

We tried the same thing, ran Check for Updates several times with no change in behavior? Not sure if anyone has run into this or not. We tried the updgrade procedure a couple of different times with the same result. Any guidance is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

After successfully upgrading from 2009R1.1F to 2009R1.1G, the Nagios GUI still shows it at 1F and states there is an update available. Restarted both the service and server with no luck. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreicated. If I need to include additional information, I'd be happy ...

We found a solution for this from Nagios. Not sure how permissions/group permissions got changed as we didn't modify them, but this command corrected the permissions issues and allowed us to successfully sync the config files:

SOLUTION:

chown nagios.nagios /usr/local/nagios/etc/*.cfg

Using Nagios XI version 2009R1.1F. We are now running into an issue where the core config files are not getting updated. When you apply a new configuration, no errors or warnings are displayed. We are in the process of configuring Nagios XI and are running into an issue when attempting to view any graphs via a browser (IE or FireFox). Instead of graphs, all we see are a Red X.
