Re: Nagios-Slack webhook not sending alerts to Slack
Thanks for reaching out pnikhade , Personally, I wouldn't post your Slack Hook on a public forum. Otherwise, I would make sure the URL is executable. Also it looks like the path you put in the command is /usr/lib64/nagios/plugins/slack_service_notify but it looks like it should be /usr/lib64/nagios/...

Re: Notifications showing $ instead of value
This seems like a bug and I can't seem to replicate it, you might get some better luck opening a ticket with the Nagios Support Team at https://answerhub.nagios.com/support/s/ because they can do a more in depth analysis

Re: Notifications showing $ instead of value
If you go to Account Settings -> Notification Options -> Notification Messages, what does your service alert message look like? Mine looks like this: ***** Nagios XI Alert ***** %alertsummary% Notification Type: %type% Service: %service% Host: %host% Address: %hostaddress% State: %servicestate% Info...

Re: Notifications showing $ instead of value
How are your email settings in XI configured? I'm wondering if you are using sendmail, SMTP, or Oauth2

Thanks for reaching out @aziegler,
Is this happening for all services or just a select few? Can you send some examples of the what the service names are? Lastly, what version of XI and which linux distro are you on?

Thanks for reaching out pnikhade , I found this article especially helpful https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nagioscore/docs/nrpe/NRPE.pdf I was able to replicate your issue and resolve it. You have two options. Enable Command Line Arguments Open up /usr/local/nagios/etc/nrpe.cfg or wherever the n...

Thanks for reaching out @pipv,
Is it possible that you are running out of memory and the process is getting killed by the OOM killer? Is there anything in nagios logs that would indicate what's failing?
