Re: New STMP Server: Nagios Users Get Alerts, Contacts Cannot

Hi @tcp82, Basically, there are two different commands within Nagios Core that handle sending notifications, so if you have only updated the command that sends them for Contacts, the one for Users would also need to be updated. Re: Performed offline upgrade from 5.10.0 to 5.11.3 and now monitoring is not working

Hi Ken, When you run the upgrade, do you get a message telling you: --------------------------- Nagios XI Upgrade Complete! --------------------------- If you don't see error output but you also don't get this message, there may be an error happening in the upgrade process. I would recommend trying ...

Re: NagVis Error

Hi @nagiosminn, From a cursory search of similar types of errors, it sounds like it's possible that this was caused by a recent update to the PHP version on your server. Is it possible this coincided with your updates around when this error started happening? For more personalized, in-depth troubles...

Re: Bulk changes fail silently if config files can't be verified

@dflick, It sounds like there are multiple issues being discussed here so it's possible this isn't addressing the core one, however your last post speaks to a specific pain point in running a wizard many times to add multiple iterations of physically identical hardware. If this is correct, I'm wonder...

Re: Computing Resource Users Site

Hi Dirge, You can set up an automatic login by going to Admin->Automatic Login. This lets you choose one of your existing Nagios XI users to automatically log into. If you make a user with read-only permissions, and set that account as the Automatic Login, and provide that user with the dashboard yo...

Re: NCPA 3.0 Beta Client Install on Red Hat 8

Hi John, I believe you should be able to get that ELF file to work by just removing the file type, actually. If you don't manage to get this to work, you could also probably write a small extension in a supported format that calls that script itself and passes the output to NCPA, but I believe remov...

Re: restoring to different platform - mysql issues

Hi elinagios, Depending on the MYSQL version there are some differences in how IDENTIFIED BY is handled within a GRANT statement, and depending on whether or not the user already exists or is being created and granted permissions by a single statement. My recommendation is to try it without the IDEN...
