Re: Nagiosxi restore issue
Glad we got the perfdata issue resolved, at least! For the empty tab issue, I am curious what browser you're using to access XI. This sounds like an error with the html selector being used to access that tab, and short of browser compatibility issues, this sounds very odd! If you are not using an of...

Re: Nagiosxi restore issue
Yes, I would recommend replacing the older perfdata file with the newer one, that was going to be my follow up suggestion in the event the file was an old version. Basically when you do an upgrade->migrate process, some of your config files are moved over to preserve functionality. If you have done ...

Re: Nagiosxi restore issue
Do you see any errors in the browser console or network tab? If you haven't checked this already, I would recommend clearing the network tab and trying to load the performance graphs or any other page element that isn't loading. Let us know if you see any network requests that are in error state, th...

Re: Offloading XI Database to Ubuntu
Hi @acentek, I believe the issue here is that you have two addresses in your bind-address where you should only have one. Basically if this config file is on your remote DB server, the config should look like this: [mysqld] bind-address=MySQL/MariaDBServerIP port=3306 Try making this change and rest...

Re: False Positives
Hi @rj-admin2, This could be a result of services going down for any length of time, depending on your monitoring settings for those services. Personally I've noticed switches can be a particular source of these, as individual ports can report outages for momentary disruptions. You can account for t...

Re: Dashboard save icon not working
Hi @PSI-Admin, I agree there's something odd going on with this functionality. I am able to edit some dashboards, but not others, particularly after saving a new dashboard. I've logged an issue for this. In the meantime, are you able to work around this issue by making changes to your dashboard and ...

Re: VDSL internet lines
Hi @fanis_imetrix, You would need to monitor the device that your internet lines are running through at some point in your network in order for Nagios XI to be able to receive data about those connections. You don't need a firewall device to monitor this, you could monitor the switch that you are ru...
