I think actually that the issue happened before any IP address/DNS was changed.

This is something that just happened without any updates to the system except DNS

Single instance vs. cluster

I currently have a single instance Nagios Log Server but unless I keep the indexes pruned it has serious performance issues.

Currently there are 80 hosts but only like or so send a lot of logs to the system.

Would it work better to have a cluster rather than a single instance?

Elasticsearch Database Offline

My Nagios Log Server instance keeps having it's elasticserach service stop. This only happened after we changed domain controllers. I have updated the resolv.conf to list the new nameservers. Thoughts?
