OK
The problem was that I can't browse to the VMware Appliance from the PC that the Player is running on. Moved to another PC and connected fine.
Is this normal behaviour?

Date was wrong. I set the local timezone to Pacific Auckland. No difference.
Interestingly sshd is running but I can't get a connection using putty either....

Hi Downloaded nagiosxi VM ware, fired up in player. logged in as root got IP - 192.168.234.124 (correct for our subnet) browsed to IP; Browser times out. /var/log/httpd/access_log only shows a continuous stream of.... 127.0.0.1 - - [08/Feb/2010:04:32:02 -0600] "POST /nagiosxi/backend/ HTTP/1.1&...
