Re: Service notifications being received and can't see why
Still exactly the same after running all of the above, the contact still appears in the service configuration in the objects.cache.

Re: Service notifications being received and can't see why
Hi, The contact is listed beside the contacts property when checking the objects.cache, but not when looking at the config file. When searching for the host with grep in the configuration directory, there are only 2 config files, one for the host, and another for the services. The contact is not def...

Service notifications being received and can't see why
So we keep receiving alerts to one of our contacts, even though this contact is not defined anywhere for the service that keeps sending alerts. (Multiple services are demonstrating the same behaviour, but just to this one contact) The contact group for the user is not defined, and the contact for th...

Re: Low Bandwidth Reading from Cisco Switches
Are you using SNMP v2c? There's a caveat with needing to use 64bit counters for Cisco interfaces: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk648/tk362/technologies_q_and_a_item09186a00800b69ac.shtml Check the plugin to see if there's an extra switch for setting 32 or 64 bit counters. SNMP v2c introduced a 64...

Re: Scheduled Reporting in Nagios XI
One other thing I noticed was that filtering doesn't stack. If I filter by ServiceGroup it shows me average availability for ALL hosts and not just those with services in the service group. I created a hostgroup with just those hosts, and thought I would filter by both, but if I change the hostgroup...

Re: Scheduled Reporting in Nagios XI
Hi again, I have a few suggestions for future release of this module: At the moment the reports show host and service availability with no option to choose one or the other. For instance I may want just a host availability report and not necessarily see the service availability and vice versa. I can...

Re: Scheduled Reporting in Nagios XI
Should probably also note the following:
We're using Nagios XI 2011R1.7, on CentOS 5.5. This is a manual install running inside a vSphere 4.1 VM.

Scheduled Reporting in Nagios XI
Hi, I work for an MSP and we have a requirement to produce weekly and monthly SLA reports from Nagios. I found the labs posting regarding this feature being in development. Is it possible to test this feature please? http://planet.nagios.org/archives/83-nagios-labs/3680-scheduled-reporting-in-nagios...
