We tried a password with a "!" in it, this appears to be the delimiter in the config file, so that did cause an issue. We have not found any others.

That worked to change the icon. Is there a way to correct the Linux SNMP configuration or will I have to manually change this for all 138 linux hosts?

Thank you, the forward slash "/" allowed me to use the AD account. For the record this account is currently using an all lower case password while we were troubleshooting this issue. Now that we know it works with an AD account we can change the password to something more secure and will b...

Linux SNMP host displays with Windows Server icon
I created a Liunx SNMP host (not able to get NRPE to report correctly yet) on the Nagios XI VMWare image.
