Re: NagiosXI Install error
Being this machine is behind a proxy, I want you to take a look at this: http://support.nagios.com/wiki/index.php/Nagios_XI:FAQs#Problems_Using_Nagios_XI_With_Proxies Additionally, you may be missing the following package, and you'll have to figure out how to get it installed through your proxy. php...

Re: SMOKEPING UNKNOWN: RRD Error
In http://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nagiosxi/docs/Integrating_Smokeping_With_Nagios_XI.pdf You may have missed the section: Once Smokeping is installed you will need to configure it to monitor the desired hosts. This is outside the scope of this document and you should consult Smokeping's official...

Re: Several graphs not working after manual build/install
I guess without access to the old server I would suggest 2 things. First, I think it would be a good idea to upgrade to the current version Nagios XI 2011R1.9 After that you will need to install the components that are giving you "URL doesn't exist on my server". Here are some to start: ht...

Re: MSSQL Database Wizard not working
I'm somewhat at a loss because you can connect to another database with the script, and other machines can connect to this server through port 1166, you really should be able to use the following command ./check_mssql_database.py -H <HOSTNAME_OR_IP> -p 1166 -U MSSQL_USER -P MSSQL_PASS -T master --ti...

Re: MSSQL Database Wizard not working
Again I need to ask
Are you sure the MSSQL server allows connections from remote machines, specifically your Nagios XI?
Additionally, are you sure their isn't any firewall blocking connections from remote machines on that port?

Re: MSSQL Database Wizard not working
Can I have you try the following: Try either wrapping the <hostname>\<instance> in single quotes, or if that doesn't work, try adding an additional '\' so that the second backslash escapes correctly. '\' signals a line break in a shell command. So ./check_mssql_database.py -H '<hostname>\<instance>'...

Re: MSSQL Database Wizard not working
This may help find the port http://benchmarkitconsulting.com/colin-stasiuk/2009/02/02/what-tcp-port-is-sql-server-running-under/ Additionally, if it is running on the standard port (1433) are you sure that the MSSQL server allows connections on it's port from the server you have Nagios XI installed ...
