Hello Well i have this issue mentioned in the subject on a recently installed nagios core in a debian x64 lenny box. Already tried the most common solution around: give executable permission to /bin/ping with: chmod u+s /bin/ping But still the same problem. I did tried this in the command line also:...

Hello I do not mean to hijack this tread but i have EXACTLY the same problem, i have a debian lenny box and i keep getting the same error.
