I tried installing the 32bit ami-5b895d32... and have the exact same results. I tried restarting mysql and postgres, I don't think ports have anything to do with this issue but just for fun... I tried opening all ports in the default security group, I created a new security group with all ports open...

Thanks, I just executed the first three with no errors of any kind. I then executed the fourth item which was a Nagios restart.
