I just ran that command on the command line and added the IP address of the sensor. After I hit
enter nothing came back, no error just the root@servername `]# prompt.

It seems to be a DNS issue with the VMware image. Run the 2 steps above and this is what fixed the ............. issue. Also, when you Add a new host and enter the IP address and click next you should now get the DNS name instead of the IP address. This was the first hint that the above scripts fixe...
