Re: service check timeouts
We have reviewed the network traffic the last times I had the problem of timeouts but we have not seen saturation problems. Let's check it again the next time we have timeouts. Last week we had no timeouts.

Re: service check timeouts
They are failing all services.
Some days the checks running well, but another days fails.
I attach log files of the last times that monitoring has failed.

The host is Prometeo (192.168.246.174, 192.168.22.174).
Some services sometimes fail and sometimes fail others.

Yes, we restart the NRPE service after the change. It´s running under xinetd.
The problem happened again after the change.

Re: service check timeouts
Hi,
We added the Nagios server IP in our nrpe.cfg
This is the result of the command:
cat /etc/xinetd.d/nrpe|grep only_from
only_from = 127.0.0.1 192.168.247.128

Re: service check timeouts
Hi,
the IP in server is statically.
there isn't any process nrpe in backgruond mode running. and we only have 1 service xinetd running.
I attack config file nrpe.cfg
