If you enter the Nagios Core Configuration Manager, and select tool from the list on the left, then select Write Config Files. This allows you to see if any errors occurred and where they did. Be sure to start at the top "Write monitoring data" and work your way down.

Hello Devinacosta, It looks like you are behind a proxy which needs to be configured to allow for the HTTP calls. Here is a wiki post on how to do this:
