Still having issues with installation, we have ldap and it appears to be interferring with the install. I continue to get kick out during the 2-usersgroups portion of the installation. Prerequisites installed OK RESULT=0 Running './2-usersgroups'... Adding users and groups... groupadd: group nagios ...

I tried the touch command you recommended and it did get me past the useradd issue I was having. Unfortunately it did not get me much further as now I fail on the 3-dbservers step in the install as again it is trying to add a user (I think). Just confirmed ldap manages users, have yet to try the touch string hopefully that will at least get me past this immediate issue... Thanks!

As I mentioned server originally had nagios core, I had the same install issue which is why the server was refreshed with a clean install of RHEL5 (FYI this is a 64-bit RHEL5 installation)
