Hi, its bit confusing, perhaps you could provide little more information... did you install nagios core server thru the official quickstart guide? nagios core installation is doing good? host checks, service checks are working good? you say, everything working just you dont know email notifications ...

Hi Sreesha, I do remember that somebody said they got many troubles with NRPE on HPUX. i assume you wanted to integrate Nagios and CA Spectrum and use Nagios as the dashboard... i mean, monitoring will be done by CA Spectrum, alerts dashboard will be Nagios GUI, is that correct? i am not very sure of this question... but a small suggestion... I think we can "Schedule downtime for this service".. or we can design the service checks time period... i mean, "do service check only on 6am to 6pm"...something like that... lets wait for others to reply... thanks...
