Re: Why my nagios xi 2012 R1.3 vm doesn't support memory hot
Below is the reply from vmware support: It should already be the default for any 32-bit Linux guest OS type, but it's worth a shot... Edit the VM settings, and go to Options > Advanced > Configuration Parameters. Click 'Add Row' and enter memory.gransize 1024 As I can't shutdown nagios xi server to ...

Re: Can nagios xi setup a user only see one hostgroup?
I actually login as "ups" user in another computer as mine is login as "nagiosadmin", and I tried to modify the ups user's home page and not success, either.
Generally what we want "ups" user see is only UPS hostgroup's status, nothing else.

Re: Why my nagios xi 2012 R1.3 vm doesn't support memory hot
yeah, because our vmware environment is esx/esxi combined. This morning I migrate nagios xi vm from ESX host to ESXi 4.1 host, I still can't hot-add memory, don't know why. BTW, we use centos 6.3 32-bit nagios xi 2012 R1.1 image organically, before vm turn on, I modified memory to 1GB and enable CPU...

Re: Why my nagios xi 2012 R1.3 vm doesn't support memory hot
yes, other 2008 R2 VM works fine, and centos 6.3 VM I created before can hot-add memory as well, don't why this one can't, just don't want to reboot the server.

Re: Can nagios xi setup a user only see one hostgroup?
Thanks for reply. Maybe I did something wrong, I setup the user as contact in every host in that hostgroup, so with most services. But when user login, they still can't see the status, the only way I can make them to see to give them access to all hosts and services. Any ideas?
