If I do a manual install on RedHat cluster can I do a maunal install of NAGIOS XI and make it clusterable so that if one node in the RedHat cluster fails NAGIOS will failover and keep running in another node?

mmestnik what do you mean by distributed monitoring?
Is it possible to set up a collector type NAGIOS that passes data to another NAGIOS for graphing etc?
Is there a document on any of this?

XI capacity requirements
Hi, I'm looking at a large NAGIOS XI implementation and need to get some idea of the resource requirements. I have the option of running as a virtual guest on VMWare ESX or as a physical server. Obviously a physical server costs more than a virtual but does NAGIOS need a physical or can it run in a ...
