So looked at the /usr/local/nagios/etc/services and have a current_load.cfg and the localhost.cfg (which has the current_load also)

I think the real issue is that the default services were set up on install, I used them for about 50 hosts and then deleted them. Now if I try to add them back it acts like they are already there.

On the host I had prior to deleting the service set the:
Max attemps = 3
Check interval =15
Retry =5
Check Period = 24x7
Max attemps = 3
Check interval =15
Retry =5
Check Period = 24x7

To answer the first reply when I manually add a service back, apply the config and then go back to services and it looks good. When I add the host "boa" and apply the config I get the following: Processing object config directory '/usr/local/nagios/etc/services'... Processing object config...

Ok, tried to roll back from the oldest config (beginning of July) and still no services. A little background: had to pull off of the intall/config of this instance of Nagios to work on another in a Restricted environment (which is running awesome) and now coming back after 2 months to get this one u...

Still new to Nagios, and accidently deleted the default services in the Core Config Mgr. Now when I try to add them back it says they are duplicates.

Still new to Nagios so still learning... The reason I got to that point was I wasn't quite sure why I wasn't getting services so like a dummy I deleted all of the default services in Config Mgr. Now if I add them back it is telling me I have dupes. Do I need to open a new thread or can you help me o...

Well now got a "database error" and it kicked me out of Config Mgr. Couldn't log in so I refreshed and now the page won't even come up.
