Thanks for the tip. I have looked at some of the different rrd add source / rrd modify scripts referenced in this forum and other places, and haven't found a solution better than storing in individual RRD's (RRD_STORAGE_TYPE = MULTIPLE). Graphing support for RRD_STORAGE_TYPE = MULTIPLE

Are there any plans on getting the graphing, etc. in Nagios XI to support "RRD_STORAGE_TYPE = MULTIPLE" when retrieving performance data? We would like to be able to add/remove counters to a service after it has been created, without having to migrate RRD files manually afterwards. As far ...

I think that would help in our situation, assuming that Nagios XI remembers the setting for services where it has been selected. A global default setting would also be useful, and may be easier to implement instead? I.e. a check box together with the "Use Highcharts for Perfdata Graphs".

I have been using XI 2012 and am in the middle of trying out XI 2014. We also make use of the option of selecting a service and immediately seeing all the graphs for that service.
