Re: Data Base Error
I tried to start DB but it fails.
I am running Nagios as a virtual server, I expanded HD space to make sure I have enough to run Nagios, but it is still failing.
frustrating, I had all my servers set up and working, all I needed was screen shoots of my configuration to show to our customers.
Thanks

SQL Store Procedures
Hello, I am testing Nagios as a proof of concept to some of our customer so they can monitor our application. Is there a Document on how to set up Nagios to execute SQL Store Procedures and display results in an informative way? For example, how to monitor the row count of a table, if it reaches a t...

Re: Issues with Nagios Client on Solaris server
There is no Firewall in between these two machines, they are in the same network. the monitored host machine does not support "nmap" command. Can I install nmap on this solaris machine? According to Solaris when /etc/ipf/ipf.conf is empty or no entries, it is the same as "all ports ar...

Re: Issues with Nagios Client on Solaris server
I added a line in /etc/services "nrpe 5666/tcp # Nagios Client".
Now when I do a "nmap [host ip address] -p 5666" command it tells me that the STATE of the port is "filtered". What does that mean?
Thanks
